middle of the month was fun, then I don't know what happened and they seem lost.

Make a move for scoring sooner rather than later. CBJ have cap space. If there is the desire to take on a rental with a short contract term, the wise thing to do would be to bring them in as early as possible.

Not a good idea. The jackets leveraged the short term for a run last spring. Now the bill is due, and it's best to just suck it up for a few years. Dont dig yourselves in deeper by trading for a perceived short term fix

I don't believe it is time to hit the panic button. On the contrary they should do everything they can to support a good start in order to continue improvement.

Having said to get scoring help - even with short term, in the previous paragraph, you then made the statement about not panicing. Getting scoring help with short term would reek of panic !

I'm all with ya on getting scoring help - preferably a game-changing, tilt the ice, player. And this would cost a top-4 D (not Jones/Z) prospect + high pick.
Ideally see them get young-ish player, with term - at LEAST 2 more years - Huberdeau?? Nugent-Hopkins??
The Jackets lack that type of players, while PLD might develop into that, they do have several great supporting players; Andy, Bjork, Atkinson, Nyquist, maybe future Bemstrom, Foudy.
But how long will Jarmo wait to pull the trigger ??

They should get Nic Petan out of TO. Offensive skill. Could help.

Sorry, Quote function not working....

Do the injuries to Murray and Texier have anything to do with the nosedives against Philly and Edmonton? Both players seemed to play well, and missing a player for over two periods in Philly could have had an effect as they melted down in the 3rd that night.

Thanks for informatrion.

Ugh,

It seems like the thud was really the CBJ hitting the top stair as they started falling.

Would CBJ fans have interest in trading Josh Anderson and or David Savard? If so what’s their perceived value? What would you want (generally speaking) in return?
